About me

Rosa Llop used to be a graphic designer. Her work and research interests are oriented towards digital and design culture. In 2013 she finished a BA Arts in Design focused in Research Methodologies and practices like Co-creation, User Centered Design, Etnography and Bussiness Innovation. Her Final Project was an Academic Research involving a visual language analysis to define a pattern language system in order to improve the graphic design quality for digital self-publishing services.

Currently she is a PhD candidate at Winchester School of Arts, University of Southampton. Her study framework are media software studies and graphic design, trying to find the way to increase graphic design culture in web 2.0 software tools like web CMS.

As an education professional she is Co-Director of Master’s Degree on Design and Direction for Internet Projects, and a Postgraduate course for Apps’ Design at ELISAVA-UPF. She also teaches Digital Publishing and typographic composition at its Design Degree.
